Local households in Bui village get access to electricity.

The connection is a result of a project which started this June. With investment worth more than VND 1 billion (about USD 43,000), the project installed some 1.2km of electric lines and a transformer station.

Upon the completion of the project, local authorities have worked to raise public awareness of safe and efficient electricity utilization, said Tang Van Dung, Deputy Director of Power Chu Pah.

To date, 99.8 percent of residents in Gia Lai province have access to electricity.
