Distressed fishermen rescued at sea
PANO – Ship SAR 411 of the Vietnam Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (Vietnam MRCC) successfully rescued and brought distressed trawler, numbered NA 90144 TS with 15 fishermen on board to Nghe An waters on December 13.

Previously, at 10.54am on December 12, the distressed ship, numbered NA 90144 TS, captained by Hoang Van Luan from Nghe An province, with 15 fishermen on board, clashed with another trawler, number TH 90272 about 100 nautical miles northeast off Hon La port, and about 42 nautical miles off Bach Long Vy Island. After receiving the information, Vietnam MRCC sent ship SAR 411 to the scene to save distressed fishermen on the sinking trawler.
At 5.30pm December 12, ship SAR 411 approached the distressed trawler and gave first aid to all the distressed fishermen. At present, their health has been improving.
