Major General Le Vinh Quy, Director of the provincial Department of Public Security, stated that the department has been entrusted by local authorities to carry out the largest ever housing support project for disadvantaged families in the province. The project aligns with the nationwide goal to eradicate substandard houses by December 31, 2025.

The initiative is expected to significantly improve living conditions for impoverished communities across Dak Lak’s townships and districts, enhancing social welfare and strengthening public trust in the Party and the government, said Quy.

The department is committed to completing all homes and handing them over to beneficiaries by August 15, 2025, ahead of the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces and the Party congresses at all levels in the lead up to the 14th National Party Congress.

Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee, highlighted the broader scope of the province’s 2025 housing support program, which aims to build or renovate homes for over 7,300 families, including those of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious service.

Trung urged local authorities and relevant sectors to accelerate the construction and ensure high-quality homes are delivered to those in need without delay.
