Contestants in the first round of multiple choice questions

In her speech, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia, head of the contest’s steering committee, confirmed that the contest, held for the fourth time, would contribute to successfully realizing the Secretariat’s of the Party Central Committee Directive No.42 on promoting the Party’s leadership over educating revolutionary ideal, morals and cultural lifestyle among younger generations.

As Nghia said, the contest will give opportunities for youth union members, teenagers, and students nationwide and overseas to learn more about President Ho Chi Minh, the values of his testament and his thought about Vietnam’s seas and islands.

The contest, which will end on May 10, will have three rounds of multiple choice questions, writing and a final event which is expected to take place on June 9 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The organizing panel will present 180 prizes with a total value of VND 300 million.
