6 Vietnamese pupils, on November 30th, left Vietnam for Nigeria to take part in the seventh International Junior Science Olympiad from December 1st to 11th, according to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
The six candidates, Hoang Duc Anh, Le Tien Dat, Le Minh Duc, Nguyen Van Minh, Vu Dang Minh Quan and Dang Yen Lan, all from the Hanoi – Amsterdam school, one of the best high schools in Vietnam, who are outstanding students, were chosen by the Department to represent Vietnam in the event.
This is fourth time the Ministry of Education and Training asked the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to select best candidates for the International Science Olympiad.
In last year’s competition, three Vietnamese students won bronze medals.
