Prime Minister offers incense in memory of late Government leader
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense in tribute to late Prime Minister Phan Van Khai and extended lunar New Year (Tet) greetings to his family in Ho Chi Minh City on February 1 (or the fourth day of the Year of the Snake).
Late PM Khai was an outstanding leader of the Party, the State, and the people of Vietnam -a steadfast communist who dedicated his life to the nation’s independence, freedom, and the well-being of its people. As head of the Government, he made significant contribution to the country’s legal reforms and integration, particularly in the economic sector.

In memory of the late leaders, PM Chinh called for preserving and building upon the revolutionary achievements of previous generations, continuing to develop a prosperous, civilized, and thriving country where the people enjoy increasing well-being and happiness.
He extended his Tet greetings to the family of late PM Khai, wishing them good health, peace, and prosperity.
