Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs, Deputy Head of Delegation No. 19, chaired the working sessions.
The delegation supervised the leadership in studying, disseminating, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, Politburo Directive No.01-CT/TW (January 23, 2026), and Directive No.46-CT/TW (May 16, 2025) regarding the 2026–2031 election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels. This supervision objectively assessed achievements, innovations, and existing obstacles within assigned functions.

In a working session with Tay Ninh’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization and the Provincial Election Committee, Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung praised their serious implementation of Politburo and Secretariat inspection plans. He noted the agencies' thorough preparations and creative methods in disseminating the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. They also effectively advised the provincial Party Committee on Directive No.46-CT/TW and organizing National Assembly and People’s Council elections per State laws.
To enhance strategic advisory quality, the delegation urged the Commission to innovate how it disseminates Party resolutions and strengthen public opinion monitoring to proactively advise on social consensus. Meanwhile, the Provincial Election Committee’s Standing Organ was requested to refine advisory work, draw practical lessons, and improve inter-agency coordination to resolve issues promptly, ensuring a successful upcoming election.

Working with Tay Ninh Provincial Public Security’s Party Committee, Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung urged the committee to lead the implementation of the 14th National Party Congress Resolution alongside current political tasks. He emphasized improving inspection quality and ensuring the resolution is effectively applied in practice. The provincial force must strengthen coordination to monitor and forecast situations, advising the provincial Party Committee on security and social order, especially for the upcoming election. The committee was also asked to finalize reports for the delegation.
Later that day, Delegation No.19 met with the Standing Committees of Tan Tru Commune and Long An Ward Party Committees. Senior Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung praised their responsibility in executing the Politburo and Secretariat's inspection plans. He acknowledged their initial success with the two-tier local government model and their progress toward double-digit economic growth.

The delegation requested the Party committees of the two localities to focus on directing the dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress in association with local economic development tasks. They were also urged to promote the role of the armed forces in disseminating and studying Party resolutions, strengthen inspection and supervision at Party committees at all levels, promptly correct formalistic manifestations, and strictly handle violations. The delegation further asked the two localities to carefully review all relevant issues and promptly address any difficulties to ensure that the upcoming election is conducted according to plan, democratically, equally, in compliance with the law, and successfully.
