PANO – SOSHI Education Corporation held a ceremony on March 12th in Hanoi to grant scholarships to 812 local students to study at International Pacific Ocean University (IPU).
Nearly 3,000 students joined the contest in 90 minutes, including three parts: maths, foreign language(English or Japanese) and writing in English, Japanese or Vietnamese.

This year, 812 students obtained SOSHI scholarship including 10 full scholarships and 339 a-haft scholarships with total value of more than VND 200 billion.
Addressing the ceremony, representative of Embassy of Japan in Hanoi Mizuki Tanaka stressed that the students should try to study well and become a bridge between Japan and Vietnam. The scholarship program has so far contributed to promoting exchanges and friendship between the two countries, she added.
The scholarship program was first launched in 2014, and opened door to 46 students from Hanoi, Hai Duong, Nghe An and Ha Tinh province to study in Japan, the country of the rising sun.
In 2016, the program is continuing to be deployed in HCM City, Ha Nam and Quang Nam provinces.
