Five out of the six Vietnamese participants won medals, including two golds, two silvers and one bronze. They are all from the Hanoi-Amsterdam Gifted High School.
Hailing the winners for their good results, the chairman emphasized that the capital city has paid much attention to key subjects and promoted the finding and fostering of young talents, alongside the development of general education.
IJSO is organized for students aged 15 to encourage them to explore and get used to study science at the young age. It gives students worldwide a chance to exchange their study and doing research experience and show off their creativity and passion for natural sciences.
In the 11th competition, Vietnam was on the top list of nations with high achievements.
