Groups and individuals with contributions to National Assembly awarded
PANO - The Office of the National Assembly (NA) on June 7 organized a ceremony to present and bestow the State’s orders and the Government’s emulation flags to groups and individuals, and some posthumously, with great contributions to the National Assembly, the NA Office and to the cause of national construction and protection.
On behalf of the Party’s and the State’s leaders, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Nga presented the Ho Chi Minh Order to a representative of the family of Pham The Long, known as superior Buddhist monk Thich The Long and Deputy-Chairman of the seventh NA and the Third-class Independence Order to a representative of the family of Luu Quang Hoa, former head of the Economic and Budget Department under the NA Office in the 1992-1996 period.

Other noble orders and emulation flags were also presented to several individuals and groups.
Addressing the ceremony, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan congratulated the awardees and emphasized that these noble awards manifest the State’s high evaluation and honor for the individuals and groups for their contributions and devotion to the NA’s activities and to the Fatherland building and defense.
The head of the legislature believed that the awardees’ good examples would be brought into full play and followed by many and she hoped the NA’s agencies’ patriotic emulation movement would reap more outstanding achievements, which, in turn, will be recognized and honored by the Party and the State in the coming time.
