The one-month contest is part of a campaign to raise public awareness of the importance of children wearing helmets and to boost implementation of regulations requiring children to wear helmets.
Parents and children ages from 6 to 11, in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, are eligible to participate. To enter the contest, parents will send photos of their children wearing helmets with a message about traffic safety or the benefits of using standard helmets. Parents must also commit to encourage their children to wear helmets when riding.
The organizers will present weekly awards to the most impressive photos.
