About 5,000 people took part in the 1km-charity walk around the My Dinh national stadium under the message “Let’s act for children with autism” on April 2nd in response to the World Autism Day (April 2nd).
The program undertaken by the Hanoi Disabled People Association and the Autism Children’s Family Club in Hanoi drew the participation of hundreds of autistic children, their parents as well as students, volunteers and artists cum goodwill ambassadors of the walk.
On this occasion, the sponsors and benefactors also donated nearly VND 200 million to the Club help autistic children integrate in the community and increase the community awareness of these people.
The program, carried out for this, the second time, aims to help parents share and know more information on caring, and seeking suitable schools for their children with autism.
