PANO - Taking place from November 29 to December 1, the defensive area exercise of Bac Lieu province in 2023 was a success with all set goals met.

The exercise included shifting the armed forces to the higher combat readiness posture, the locality to defense posture, making preparations and conducting defensive contents.

Attentively, the field content of this drill drew the participation of units of the provincial military command, the provincial public security force, Engineering Brigade 25, Signal Brigade 29, Division 330’s Regiment 3, Reconnaisance Battalion, and Battalion 97 of Military Region 9’s Staff.

Bac Lieu is in the 10 cities and provinces conducting the defensive area exercises under the direction of the Steering Committee of Exercise Organization of Military 9 since its tenure. Next year, An Giang and Ca Mau provinces will hold defensive area exercises.
