Lieutenant General Pham Tuan is the first Asian to have flown into space, in 1980, while Ms. Amanda Nguyen is the first Vietnamese-origin woman to travel into space, in 2025. The exchange was not only an occasion to honor Vietnam-linked achievements, but also opened a space for dialogue and inspiration, encouraging young people to shape their aspirations, sense of responsibility, and pathways of contribution to the nation in the context of deep international integration.
