Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada Pham Vinh Quang reviewed the embassy’s diplomatic work and acknowledged the community’s support. He hailed their patriotism and commitment to preserving Vietnamese cultural values.

Chairman of the Canada-Vietnam Society Dang Huu Phuoc said the event reminded people of honoring their heritage despite busy lives abroad.

Participants emphasized that Hung Kings worship expresses deep ancestral respect, a core part of Vietnamese culture. The worship of the Hung Kings, though rooted in legend, reflects a historical truth about the early formation of the Vietnamese nation. It is a unique cultural tradition that emphasizes deep respect for ancestors and a strong sense of connection to the homeland.
