The event was jointly organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs and relevant agencies to create an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to learn about the history and culture of Vietnam and experience national cultural practices. 

At the event, the deputy minister inquired after the children and teachers. The official expressed her hope that the trip will not only offer a chance for the delegation to learn and experience national cultural values, but also enable them to meet friends of their age to build good memories together in their homeland. Hang thanked parents, teachers, and the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK for supporting this activity.

On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Do Ngoc Luyen, a lecturer from Kwang Un University, thanked the Deputy FM and leaders of the State Committee on OV Affairs for organizing the meaningful trip for OV children, teachers, and parents from the RoK.

This trip helps participants enhance their pride in the national history and people of Vietnam, which is a stepping stone for them to engage in more meaningful programs heading to the homeland in the future, she stated.

The program takes place from August 4 to 9 with the participation of 35 overseas Vietnamese, including 30 children and five teachers. Within the program, the delegation meets with the leaders of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, visits the Korean Cultural Center in Hanoi, tours historical and cultural sites in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, and Ninh Binh, and participates in exchanges with students and teachers of Nguyen Binh Khiem Primary School in Hanoi.

Through these activities, overseas Vietnamese children and teachers have a deeper understanding about their Fatherland, thus strengthening their connection with their roots and fostering national pride, unity, and a sense of responsibility towards the community.
