Recipients, mainly fishermen in Tonle Sap (Bien Ho in Vietnamese), Cambodia, received two tons of rice, 100 boxes of noodles, and medicines.
The support from the Dong Thap border guard force is expected to help the Vietnamese expats overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to the complicated developments of COVID-19, the two sides did not organize handover ceremonies.
Senior Colonel Le Van Luan, Commander of the Dong Thap Provincial Border Guard Command, affirmed that he hopes Vietnamese expats promote Vietnamese traditions in Cambodia, lead prosperous lives, and observe local laws.
