Over the past time, troops and young intellectuals of Forestry Plantation 156 have always stood shoulder to shoulder with local residents in the three communes in the fight against poverty, truly becoming their family members. During the Great National Unity Day, they met with local residents, returned to their second home, and continued accompanying local communities in defeating hostile forces’ plots and tricks  which can undermine the great national unity bloc.

Forestry Plantation 156 operates in an area where more than 90% of the population are ethnic minorities. The Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of the unit have pro-actively developed plans and coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and organizations to actualize Project 57. Regarding the dissemination work on the great national unity day, the unit’s Director Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Hoang said that it was a meaningful event that helped people understand the value and strength of unity. The festival atmosphere also created closeness, enabling the unit’s staff to convey messages vividly to a wide audience.

To implement Project 57, the unit organized training courses for its personnel on skills and methods of dissemination; improved their proficiency in ethnic minority languages; and coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to determine appropriate content, timing, locations, and forms of communication.

During the day, Forestry Plantation 156 formed teams to visit each village and hamlet in the three communes. Team members diversified dissemination methods such as leaflets distribution, loudspeaker broadcasts, exchanges and dialogues, policy dissemination, and information provision.

As a member of the team to Na Sa village in Hoanh Mo commune, Major Nguyen Trong Tuan, Assistant of the Division of Political Affairs under Forestry Plantation 156, said that dissemination content focused on the Party, State, military’s guidelines and policies for socio-economic development in ethnic areas, hostile forces’ schemes and tricks used to divide the great national unity bloc, especially online fraud on social media.

To make messages easy to understand, the unit compiled concise dissemination materials accompanied by illustrative videos, images, and audio. Notably, orators used local ethnic languages for their communication. In addition, the unit also presented gifts to villages and households facing hard living conditions. These meaningful activities were warmly welcomed, helping strengthen people’s trust in troops and young intellectuals of Forestry Plantation 156.

Ms. Chiu Tai Mui, a Dao ethnic resident of Keo Chan village, Luc Hon commune, shared, “Listening to the soldiers from Forestry Plantation 156, I understand the schemes and tactics of bad people. Together with others in the village, I will unite with the soldiers and local authorities to actively participate in economic development and build a healthy community life in the residential area.”

These initial successes have laid the foundation for Forestry Plantation 156 to further intensify dissemination work under Project 57. Colonel Pham Xuan Kha, Political officer of the unit, revealed that in the coming time, the unit will continue implementing Project 57 through outdoor activities, including mass mobilization work, cultural, artistic, and sport exchanges. Alongside information dissemination, troops will concentrate on helping local residents eradicate hunger and reduce poverty, build new-style rural areas, foster trust and solidarity within communities, contribute to maintaining security in the area, and help build a firm the people’s heart disposition in the northeastern border area of the Fatherland.
