Activities held for border people in Dak Lak
PANO - The Dak Lak provincial Youth Union Organization, in collaboration with the provincial Border Guard Command, the Binh Duong and Lam Dong provincial Youth Union Organizations, organized the “March in border areas” program in Ia Lop and Ia Rve communes, Ea Sup district on March 15.

In Ia Lop commune, the organizing panel presented 10 gift packages to policy families, 30 scholarships to students, and 10 bicycles to children; provided medical check-ups, health consultations, and free medicines for 200 people; offered free haircuts; set up a children's game booth and a free goods booth.
During this program, the organizers also handed over “Lighting up border road,” "Lighting up rural road," “Trung village’s Gate,” and volleyball court and a community sports area to localities; presented 100 national flags to the people.

As part of the program, the delegation also learned about the history of marker 41, offered incense in tribute to fallen soldiers, and visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers at the Ea H’Leo Border Post.
In Ia Rve commune, the delegation visited and presented gifts to a Heroic Vietnamese Mother; laid flowers at the “President Ho Chi Minh with border guards” Monument; gifted four families of border guard soldiers in difficult circumstances working at the border area; and organized sports and cultural exchanges with the officers and soldiers at the Ia Rve Border Post.

The “March in border areas” program is an annual activity aimed at promoting the glorious tradition of the youth union and the generations of the Vietnamese youth in the Fatherland construction and defense cause. At the same time, it encourages youths to participate in socio-economic development and national defense and security consolidation, contributing to fostering unity among youth union members, youths, border guard troops, and people in border areas.
