MMU completes pandemic prevention and control support
PANO – After two months reinforcing Southern localities’ efforts in containing the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 500 medical personnel, instructors and cadets of the Military Medical University (MMU) have completed their missions and returned to their university for working, teaching and learning.
During the time when the COVID-19 pandemic raged Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces, mobile military medical teams of the MMU were the key forces in consulting and treating infected cases at home, taking samples for COVID-19 testing, and providing health checkup to local people.

In the past two months, they wholeheartedly took care of infected cases in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province by cooperating with local medical staff to take samples for COVID-19 testing, providing health checkups for local people. Their contribution has left deep impression on the local authorities and people.
When the MMU personnel left the localities, representatives of authorities and a lot of local people came to Tan Son Nhat Airport to bid farewell.
On returning home, the cadres, instructors and cadets of the MMU will come back to their normal work.
