* On the same day, Naval Region 2 handed over a house of comradeship to the family of Captain Nguyen Van Thanh, an officer of the unit, residing in Long Hiep quarter, Long Dien town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

The 70-sqm gratitude house was built at a cost of VND 200 million in total, including VND 70 million from the naval region’s fund.

At the hand-over ceremony, the unit’s commander offered necessities to the recipient.

* From March 8 to 10, Division 302 of Military Region 7 mobilized over 700 troops to harvest nearly 70 tons of pepper for people in Xuyen Moc district (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province) and Cam My district (Dong Nai province).
