Military support locals to overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19
PANO - The Military Command of Chau Duc district of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, in collaboration with the Executive Board of the district’s Buddhist Sangha and benefactors, presented gifts to local residents in Bau Chinh commune, Chau Duc district, on July 11.

The command and benefactors gave 50 gift packages, worth 500,000 VND each. Each package included pork, spices, clothes, blankets, mosquito nets and 10kg of rice.
According to Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Chau Duc district Major Vu Duc Thang, the COVID-19 situation in the district has developed complicatedly, affecting local people’s lives.
He said that over the past time, together with guarding checkpoints, the unit has actively mobilized organizations and individuals to donate necessities to help local people overcome difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earlier, the Military Command of Chau Duc district presented gifts, worth 400,000 VND each, to 200 needy policy beneficiaries in Suoi Rao and Da Bac communes of Chau Duc district.
