Military Region 1 has deployed more than 400 officers and soldiers to support construction work at the sites. Despite challenging weather conditions, difficult mountainous terrain, and a demanding workload, the troops have worked closely with contractors to accelerate project progress while ensuring construction quality.

Addressing officers and soldiers at the construction sites, Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To praised their sense of responsibility and dedication. He emphasized that supporting the construction of educational facilities in border areas is both an important political task and a meaningful contribution to improving educational opportunities for students in ethnic minority and remote communities.
He called on unit commanders to continue raising awareness of the mission’s significance, strengthen management and supervision, ensure construction quality and workplace safety, and strictly comply with state laws, military discipline, and regulations on mass mobilization. He also urged contractors to maintain close coordination with military forces throughout project implementation.
On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to officers and soldiers working at the construction sites, representatives of construction units, and the leadership of the three boarding schools.

As part of the working trip, Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To also visited the Border Post of Tra Linh International Border Gate. He commended the unit’s achievements in safeguarding national sovereignty and border security, protecting border markers and infrastructure, strengthening the all-people border defense posture, responding to natural disasters and emergencies, and coordinating with local authorities in carrying out assigned tasks.
