At the meeting, General Can informed the guests of the whole military’s gratitude activities in recent times.

Last year alone, military units visited and presented gifts worth more than VND 677 billion, provided assistance for over 1,900 Vietnamese heroic mothers, spent VND 45 billion on repairing and building 678 gratitude houses, and presented 233 savings-books, 780 breeding cattle, production tools, and other necessities to local policy beneficiaries and national contributors.

Reportedly, Dak Nong has more than 14,000 national contributors, including seven living Vietnamese heroic mothers.

In the remarks at the event, the delegation thanked the leadership of the Central Military Commission and Defense Ministry and troops in the military for their good care for policy beneficiaries across the country in general and in Dak Nong in particular.

They pledged to continue to uphold the good traditions and contribute to the socio-economic development of their hometown.
