The Coast Guard Region 3 Command presents gifts to students.

The program consisted of various activities, including disseminating information related to the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard, illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing regulations, and Law on prevention of harmful effects of drugs, and organizing the “I love national sea and islands” contest for students in An Thuy, An Hoa Tay, and Tran Huu Nghiep primary schools, among others.

At the contest, the organizing panel presented 120 scholarships and 20 bicycles to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results.

On the occasion, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command gave 300 gifts, worth VND 1 million, to needy policy beneficiaries and handed over 2,000 national flags to fishermen in Ba Tri district.

Coast guards disseminate the Law on Vietnam Coast Guard.

According to Major General Do Hong Do, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, the “Coast guards stand by fishermen” program demonstrated the sentiment and responsibility of the coast guard force for policy families, ethnic people, religious practitioners, and needy fishermen. It also encouraged disadvantaged students to overcome difficulties to obtain better academic results and supported fishermen to keep fishing at sea.
