For its great achievements, the State President presented the first-class Fatherland Protection Order to the Viettel Aerospace Institute.
Addressing the event, General Luong hailed the unit’s determination, creativeness and efforts in mastering technologies and making breakthroughs in research and manufacturing work.
He also requested the institute to continue to set new and highly challenging tasks, gradually master the research and production of high-tech products such as remote sensing satellites; long-range UAVs; advanced long-range electronic warfare systems, command automation systems; and cyber warfare materiel, among others.
In his speech at the event, Viettel Aerospace Institute’s Director Lieutenant Colonel Vu Tuan Anh affirmed that all Viettel staff in general and the whole unit in particular would do their utmost to make Viettel become the core force of a high-tech defense industry complex, actively contributing to the goal of realizing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress on building a modern, dual-use defense industry of Vietnam, meeting the requirements of the cause of national protection and socio-economic development.
