HCM City opens civil defensive exercise
PANO - District 3 of Ho Chi Minh City conducted a civil defensive exercise 2022 on October 9.
The exercise’s theme was “Promoting the strength of District 3’s political system, making preparation for and conducting civil defensive operations, search and rescue response, and coping with consequences of railway accidents.”
During the event, participating units well implemented the exercise’s contents in different stages, including leaders’ actions after receiving information about railway accidents, the operation mechanism of the chain-of-command for civil defense, natural disaster response, search and rescue missions, and settlement of railway accident consequences, among others.
The exercise met all set targets, ensuring absolute safety for all participating forces, weapons and technical equipment.
The event was to evaluate and improve leadership and command capacity of local authorities, Party committees, and participating forces in mobilizing resources; promote coordination capabilities among participating forces; and maintain political security, social order and safety to build a solid defensive area and stay ready to deal with any circumstances, disasters and incidents, creating conditions for the socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City and District 3 as well.
