Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, the GS’s Deputy Chief and Head of GS’s Combat Training Steering Committee, chaired the opening ceremony. The event was attended by the GS’s Deputy Party Committee and Political Chief Major General Chu Van Doan and representatives from the GS’s agencies and units.

The contest aims to evaluate the quality of line-up regulation training of the GS’s agencies, businesses, and schools and their personnel’s awareness of regulation building and discipline management. The event is considered an important stage in combat training and regulation building process. Through the outcomes of the contest, participating agencies, businesses, and schools will adjust their training contents, thus raising the quality of line-up regulation training in the coming time.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan asked the steering committee to enhance the responsibility to hold the contest as scheduled and work with other agencies and units to ensure absolute safety of personnel and equipment during the contest. He urged the jury to make objective and accurate decisions so as to truly evaluate the quality of line-up regulation training at the GS’s agencies, businesses, and schools.

GS’s Deputy Chief also requested participating agencies and units to embrace the significance and requirements of the test and strictly observe discipline and contest’s regulations and jury’s instructions. Participating personnel were encouraged to raise their responsibility, overcome difficulties, enhance coordination, and be confident to obtain highest possible results at the event.

After the opening ceremony, personnel from the GS’s agencies, businesses, and schools started taking part in different contents. The event will last until August 5.
