The conference aimed to equip selected personnel with essential information about the expo, skills, and knowledge on safeguarding state secrets and military confidentiality and ensuring security and safety.
Participating officials were provided with an overview of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024; the work of protecting state secrets, military confidentiality, and ensuring security and safety at the expo; protocols, foreign affairs, and key points to note in serving at the event; and an introduction to the sections in the expo and the duties of personnel serving in those areas.
Speaking at the conference, Maj. Gen. Nguyen Viet Hung asked the organizing panel to strictly adhere to the conference’s contents and schedule, ensuring its quality and effectiveness. He urged the instructors to deliver the contents, skills, and information relevant to the activities in the expo and stressed the need for personnel involved to thoroughly understand the political significance and purpose of the Vietnam International Defense Expo, to demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, and to effectively grasp the content presented during the conference.
Moreover, he encouraged open discussions on unclear issues, limitations, and challenges encountered in previous edition, and urged participants to pro-actively learn and accumulate experience and skills to ensure the success of the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2024, which will be a highlight of the 80th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People's Army.
