Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; and nearly 3,000 delegates from central agencies, ministries, and localities, especially coastal provinces, and online participants from 45 places nationwide.

The conference unanimously evaluated that the project received active participation and support from central agencies, ministries, local authorities, especially military regions in coastal areas, the Naval Service, the Vietnam Border Guard Command, and the Vietnam Coast Guard Command. These agencies and localities closely followed the project's objectives, maximizing resources and employing diverse and innovative dissemination methods tailored to practical conditions for effective implementation. The Vietnam Coast Guard Command actively collaborated with relevant agencies to proactively promote the dissemination of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law through various media channels and information systems. Many delegates proposed extending the project duration.

In his speech at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong highly praised the achievements of central agencies, units, localities, and media agencies in implementing the project over the past five years. He emphasized the need for continued coordination to intensify the dissemination of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law nationwide, particularly targeting party members, officials, and the public in coastal areas and relevant agencies.

Additionally, he stressed the importance of enhancing international understanding of Vietnam's policies and laws regarding maritime management and protection, including the Vietnam Coast Guard Law. He emphasized the role of local party committees and authorities in leading, directing, and implementing the project, as well as pro-active collaboration with media agencies to enhance awareness of and responsibility for safeguarding sovereignty, law enforcement, and ensuring maritime security.

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong urged agencies and units to grasp feedback from the conference to continue studying and proposing to higher levels. He emphasized the need to enhance coordination between military units and other organizations and localities in implementing the project, integrating legal education, including the Vietnam Coast Guard Law, into political and socio-economic development tasks, and various movements and campaigns.

On this occasion, the Ministry of National Defense proposed that the Prime Minister commend five collectives and individuals, while the Minister of National Defense would commend 175 collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the "Dissemination of the Vietnam Coast Guard Law in the 2019-2023 period" project.
