Defense leaders congratulate military medicine sector on Vietnamese Doctors' Day

* During the visit to Military Hospital 354 (the General Department of Logistical Affairs), Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh commended the hospital's efforts and achievements over the past year. Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh emphasized the need for Military Hospital 354 to continue to promote the application of modern technology in medical examination and treatment, foster unity spirit, and build a team of competent doctors to successfully fulfill assigned missions in 2024.

* Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San visited and congratulated the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics on the the 69th anniversary of the Vietnamese Doctors' Day. He praised the dedicated efforts of the military medicine sector, recognizing the medical personnel's resilience in overcoming challenges and outstandingly completing their tasks, deserving the trust of the Party, State, and people.

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San instructed the Department of Military Medicine to continue effectively serving as a strategic advisory body for the Ministry of National Defense in implementing State management of healthcare in the military. He also encouraged the department to issue appropriate documents to enhance the quality of the management of the military medicine sector and guide the sector in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

* During the visit to the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine, Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the institute's medical personnel over the past time. He emphasized the need for the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine to steadfastly implement the directives and guidance from higher levels regarding the healthcare for the military troops and civilians.
