The report presented at the conference stated that in the first half of 2023, the Air Defense - Air Force Service strictly followed the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. They actively implemented the resolutions of the Party Committee of the Air Defense - Air Force Service and the military missions for 2023, successfully fulfilling combat readiness tasks, managing airspace and flights.
Particularly, the Air Defense - Air Force Service focused on directing its affiliated units to maintain and adhere to training regulations and plans; provided guidance for units to organize basic training and enhance combat crew proficiency; enhanced tactical training, night training, and exercises, ensuring good responses to mission requirements.
Additionally, the Air Defense - Air Force Service coordinated with relevant forces to promptly support the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in handling air defense combat situations.

In the second half of 2023, the Air Defense - Air Force Service will continue assessing and using new and improved weapons in implementing combat readiness tasks, airspace management, and flight control. Units in the service will closely monitor the situations in the air, at sea, and along borderline, contributing to ensuring political security, social order, and safety in critical areas. The service will direct its air force units to conduct tight and safe flight activities, air defense units to focus on combat crew training at various levels, enhance night training, and master technical equipment. Its units will also strictly observe discipline and regulations and effectively implement Party and political work in all tasks.
