During the time at a training center of General Department 12 (Sergiev Posad city, Russia), all members of the team have tried their best to train and are now ready to enter the competition with the highest determination and will.
This year’s contest “Emergency Area” is joined by ten teams from Russia, Belarus, Abkhazia, Congo, Mali, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. While the teams from Russia, Belarus, Abkhazia, Congo and Mali consist of well-trained and experienced officers specializing in research and rescue, the teams from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia are composed of military cadets who are studying in Russia.
According to the organizing panel, the competition has three events namely Special Trip, Relay, and Victorious Breakthrough. In each event, participants should perform their skills in rescuing victims from areas of natural disasters.
Especially, during the competition, they have to wear anti-biochemical costumes and carry their equipment to overcome dangerous obstacles to reach the victims. Thus, it requires them to have precise movements and thoroughly master machinery. During the events, contestants are also required to shoot K-54 pistols at various targets.
This is the second time Vietnam has sent a search and rescue team to the Army Games.
In spite of numerous disadvantages, the Vietnamese team is ready to compete at the Army Games 2020.
* On August 22, the Field Kitchen contest in the framework of the Army Games 2020 has officially opened at the Alabino training grounds in the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. This year’s contest is participated in by teams from Russia, Belarus, Vietnam, Armenia, Abkhazia, and Uzbekistan.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Colonel Nihelman Sergey, on behalf of the organizing panel, warmly welcomed the participating contingents and wished them best results. This year contest’s new category named “Super Chef” is a good opportunity for the contestants to show their cooking skills.
According to Senior Colonel Pham Van Khao, head of the Vietnamese Field Kitchen Team, all team members are ready and confident to enter the contest.
* On the same day, a ceremony was held to present the Certificate of International Referees to representatives of contingents participating in the “Military Medical Relay Race” event of the Army Games 2020 held at a base in Forish, Uzbekistan. Dr. Nghiem Trung Hung from the Vietnamese Medical Team is among those who are presented with this certificate.

To attain the certificate, Hung has passed a three-day training course on the contest’s contents and regulations. The Head of the Jury for the competition is Colonel Fozilov Nosirzhon Khoshimovich from the host country of Uzbekistan.
On the same day, the organizing panel organized a lot-drawing ceremony for participating teams. According to the drawing result, the Vietnamese Medical Team is the sixth team to compete in the competition.
