Vietnamese servicemen trained with peacekeeping expertise
PANO - Servicemen from corps, services and military regions of Vietnam have recently gathered in a general training course for the Engineering Company Rotation 4 and Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 7 to be deployed to U.N. missions this year.
After nearly-ten-day training with basic knowledge at the Engineering Technical College of the Engineering Corps, the trainees took part in a professional course at the Training Center of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

The course focused on techno-tactical skills for the protection detachment under the Engineering Company Rotation 4, signal skills for signal team of the Engineering Company Rotation 4 and Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 7, and supply skills for the supply detachment from the company and the supply commission from the field hospital.

Instructors of the course are experienced cadres.
With high determination, trainees have exerted efforts and tried to acquire all knowledge and skills provided, promoted pro-activeness, strictly observed discipline, and ensured security and safety in all aspects.
During the course, 35 trainees of the Protection Detachment of the Engineering Company Rotation 4 had a martial arts performance to welcome the delegation from the Foreign Policy Committee of the Danish Parliament, leaving an impression on the Vietnamese military’s strength and high discipline.

As planned, after this course, all members of the two units will gather for a pre-deployment course. After that they will replace their predecessors in UNISFA and UNMISS.
