Lieutenant General Do Can (R) and Colonel Sobolevsky Andrei Marianocich
At the reception, Colonel Sobolevsky informed Gen. Can of the results of the working session between the Belarusian delegation and the press agencies of the Vietnam People's Army, highly appreciating the results achieved at the talks with the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) on the same day. According to Colonel Sobolevsky, the two sides had a preliminary agreement on the exchange of newspapers and publications. The Belarusian Military Information Agency plans to offer a publication on Soviet veterans who helped Vietnam in wartime and hopes that the two sides would discuss details of this issue during the Belarus Defense Minister's visit later in the year.
For his part, Gen. Can also highly praised the results of the talks and hoped that the Belarusian Military Information Agency would continue creating favorable conditions to support the press agencies of the Vietnam People's Army in the coming time. Accordingly, the military press agencies of Vietnam will cooperate with the Belarusian side to design effective programs on military and defense work, contributing to promoting the traditional friendship between the states, armed forces and people of the two countries.
