The Vietnamese naval delegation sent troops of Frigate 016-Quang Trung to join the event. Mr. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State, attended the event.

In his opening speech, Mr. Reddy thanked the naval forces for their participation in the parade event while underscoring the importance of the exercise in promoting cooperation and solidarity among navies according to the theme of the MILAN 2022 “Camaraderie – Cohesion – Collaboration.”

The parade was also held in celebration of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence and the 50th founding anniversary of its Eastern Naval Command.

The event was run with the participation of the Indian Navy’s air force performing acrobatic feats of fighter planes, transport aircraft, anti-terrorist forces, and more to affirm strength of the host country’s military.

Notably, aboriginals of the states in India also joined the parade, contributing to bringing about the unique cultural colors. Aboriginal people in colorful traditional costumes performed attractive folk dances, thereby introducing the long-standing traditional culture of India to friends from other countries.

Reporters of the People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images during the event.
