During the LIMA Sea Exercise, Ship 20, together with 22 ships of nine participating countries, joined aerial formation photographing, formation movement, and fleet saluting at sea.

In the framework of the LIMA 2023, from May 23 to 27, the Vietnamese delegation took part in many activities, such as fleet review, conferences and seminars, visiting exhibitions, joining sports and culinary exchanges, contributing to the success of the event and leaving deep impressions on other naval forces and locals.

After the LIMA 2023, on the afternoon of May 28, Ship 20 and the Vietnamese delegation continued to sail to Makassar city, South Sulawesi province, Indonesia to join the fourth Multilateral Naval Exercise Komodo (MNEK-4) hosted by Indonesian Navy from June 4 to 8.

The Ship’s trips to Malaysia and Indonesia aimed to realize directions of the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense on international integration and defense diplomacy, while boosting troops’ ability to closely work together in response to common challenges in maritime security; promoting sound friendship and cooperation between the Vietnam People’s Army and Navy with militaries and navies of other countries.
