Among the four teams of Group 2 competing in the final round of the “Tank Biathlon” contest at the Army Games 2020, I always highly values the team from the Vietnam People’s Army. I know that tank T-72B3 has not yet been assigned to the Vietnamese military, but the Vietnamese tank team has good performances and reaped high results at all rounds. I am very proud that three ASEAN countries including Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar have advanced to the final. I congratulate the Vietnamese team on the gold medal and the Lao team on the silver medal. I hope that the special unity between Vietnam and Laos will last forever.

At the Army Games 2020, Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper focuses on covering the “Tank Biathlon” event, therefore I have followed all competititions among tank teams in Groups 1 and 2. Sitting on the stand of the Alabino training grounds, I am very excited with a cheerful atmosphere created by fans of participating teams, especially Vietnamese fans. They have used speakers, microphones, and even their voices to stir up the stands. I have been interested in the Vietnamese tank since the qualifying round and I am really impressed by what they have performed. I do believe that the Vietnamese team will win and they will be in Group 1 in the next Army Games.

In my opinion, all four teams in the final round, especially Vietnam, have had good performances. I see that though T-72B3 tanks are new to Vietnamese troops, so they had spent most of their time to familiarize with the vehicle, and practiced hard at the Alabino training grounds before the games officially started. I always believe that the Vietnamese tank team will reap successes.

I am in charge of covering international news. Thus, at the Army Games 2020, apart from reporting news on Chinese teams, I also report news on other participating teams. Since the Army Games was held for the first time, the “Tank Biathlon” has been always one of the most intesting competitions.
On September 4, as the Chinese tank team has not played yet, I went to the Alabino training grounds to make reports on the final round of Group 2 with competitions of teams from Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Tajikistan. I watched all matches of the Vietnamese tank team and your team has performed excellently. Before the start of this final match, I saw the Vietnamese tank team doing their last technical adjustment. I do believe the Vietnamese tank team will win.
