On October 24, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duc Nam, Deputy Director of the Vietnamese Naval Academy, received an Indian naval delegation led by Colonel Kumar in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province.

At the reception, Senior Colonel Nam underscored the cooperative relationship between the two navies in general and the two academies in particular. Accordingly, they have expanded cooperation and experience exchanges, especially in officer training and technical assistance.

Over the past years, the Indian Navy has supported the Vietnamese school in raising its staff’s, instructors’ and cadets’ English language skills, IT knowledge, teaching methodology, and learning quality.

For his part, Colonel Kumar expressed his sincere thanks for the host’s warm reception. He also expected that the two academies will continue to implement exchanges and soon establish a twinning relationship.

He added that India will create favorable conditions for the academy’s team to take part in the Admiral's Cup Regatta boat racing tourney in India this December.
