Deputy Director of the academy Major General Le Xuan Thanh chaired the closing ceremony. The event also saw the attendance of the defense attaché of the Lao People's Army to Vietnam and representatives from the Department of Military School Management under the General Staff and the Defense Ministry’s Department of Foreign Relations.

Addressing the event, General Thanh applauded the high determination and great efforts of both trainees and instructors that helped the course successfully complete as scheduled.

During the course, all COVID-19 prevention and control regulations were ensured strictly. The program also provided the participants with an opportunity to learn more about the land, cultural traditions, people, and military art, as well as foreign policy of the Party and State of Vietnam.

Certificates of merit presented to groups and individuals with outstanding studying results

The Lao trainees are expected to apply their knowledge acquired during the course to implementing their missions so as to contribute to building the Lao People’s Army in the current context.

During the ceremony, the academy handed over certificates of recognition to all trainees who had accomplished the course, and merit certificates to those with outstanding study records.
