Under the theme “Shared River and Shared Future”, the meeting will announce cooperation documents related to development mechanism directions, production ability cooperation and project design.

At the meeting, the participants will approve MLC documents and defined cooperation framework “Three Plus Five”. “Three” means the three pillars of cooperation, namely political security, economy and sustainable development and social and humanity. “Five” here means the five prioritised cooperation orientations, namely connectivity, industrial cooperation, cross-border economic cooperation, water resources, agriculture and poverty reduction. All these aim to contribute to effective cooperation, peace, prosperity, and stability among the countries of the Mekong basin.
