They agreed to promote the demarcation and border-marker talks in line with the inked bilateral agreements on border control, making contributions to building a peaceful, friendly, and stable borderline for the benefits of the two peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides frankly discussed the unfortunate incidents that had happened in border areas, and they promised to boost cooperation between localities and relevant agencies of the two countries to deal with problems. With regard to the recent incidents, they agreed to address the recent incident and work together to solve it in a timely way, preventing it from spreading, hindering the demarcation work, and affecting the two countries’ relations.
