At the reception, Mr. Hong reviewed the cooperation between the two countries over the past 20 years since the Vietnam-US normalization of diplomatic ties. He highly appreciated VFW support for Vietnam and hoped that it would further share information for the search and collection of Vietnamese and US troops’ remains and those missing in the war. He also suggested that VFW continue to ask US Congress to resolve the issue of Agent Orange/Dioxin consequences in Vietnam and encouraged US veterans and their relatives to visit Vietnam.
