At the talks, the two sides worked on the full surveys of the monuments and approaches to restore and furbish them in line with the Cambodian culture while still showing the two countries’ special friendship. Accordingly, the Government of Vietnam is responsible for the funding and the Cambodian Government is to directly implement the embellishment and the subsequent preservation of the monuments.
The site survey and restoration and embellishment for the monuments in Phnom Penh will be completed in 2015 and the rest in 2016 and 2017.
