The New Vientiane Newspaper on June 9th published an article, praising the shining example of the martyred doctor, Dang Thuy Tram.  

In the article, entitled “Who is Dang Thuy Tram?”, the writer provided information about the heroine’s life and her brave deeds and encouraged Laotian people of all ages to read the book, “Dang Thuy Tram’s Diary” to further understand the revolutionary heroism of Vietnamese youths and Vietnamese girls, who, although they are like any other normal girls, are also really brave.

The author also said that younger Laotian generations should learn from the shining example of this heroine and also from other Laotian and Vietnamese revolutionaries, who had sacrificed their lives for national independence.
