He affirmed that Venezuela highly values Vietnam’s impressive socio-economic achievements and wishes to learn about Vietnam’s experience in national renovation and development process.

Both sides expressed their delight at maintained bilateral traditional relationship via visits and cooperation mechanisms. They agreed to continue working closely together to maintain the development of bilateral comprehensive partnership, including promoting the implementation of the Inter-Governmental Committee mechanism; strengthening dialogue and connectivity to boost trade and cooperation in national defence, agriculture and health care; joining hands to tackle difficulties faced by investment projects; and offering mutual support at international organisations and multilateral forums.

On the basis of mutual trust, they extensively discussed regional and global issues of common concern and shared the view that disputes among nations should be settled via peaceful means in line with international law.
