Vietnam, Saudi Arabia sign MoU on political consultation
PANO - Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and his Saudi Arabian counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on political consultation between the two ministries at a virtual conference on July 5.
During the event, the two ministers expressed their delight at the sound development of the Vietnam-Saudi Arabia relationship and the fruitful cooperation between the two ministries.

Addressing the event, the Saudi Arabian Minister hailed Vietnam’s national development successes and its increasing position in the international arena. He also congratulated Vietnam on fulfilling its role as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
For his part, Minister Son affirmed that Vietnam attaches much importance to consolidating and enhancing its friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Saudi Arabia, highlighting that the signing of the MoU would contribute to establishing a framework for the enhancement of collaboration between the two ministries in particular and the two countries in general.
