During the dialogue, both officials discussed the Vietnam - U.S. bilateral relations, regional and global issues of common concern, including promotion of peace, stability, and prosperity in Asia-Pacific.

The two sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining dialogue mechanisms, strengthening and deepening the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership, contributing to upholding peace, stability, and shared prosperity in the region and the world.

On the same day, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ha Kim Ngoc received U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs Daniel Kritenbrink, during which they discussed measures to implement the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
