On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, Deputy Minister of National Defense Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San welcomed the delegation.

During the visit, President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi was given a brief overview of the project and the Fatherland construction and defense tradition of the Vietnamese people, notably the development of the Vietnam People's Army through the struggle for national liberation and its role in current national building and defense cause.

The Mozambican President and delegation were particularly impressed by the exhibitions on Vietnam's resistance wars against the French colonialists and American imperialists. They noted that the artifacts on display affirm the heroic history, the noble tradition, and the glorious victories of the Vietnam People’s Army and the Vietnamese people, contributing to educating both current and future generations.

On behalf of the museum’s leadership, officers, staff, soldiers, and employees, Director of the Vietnam Museum of Military History Senior Colonel Le Vu Huy wished President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and the delegation a successful trip to Vietnam.
