Outdoor mural art project promotes Vietnam – Germany cultural exchange
A special art project to promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and Germany has been launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - 2025).
The project also aims to honor the talent of young Vietnamese artists who have been invited to contribute creative ideas to transform the exterior wall of the German Embassy in Hanoi into an outdoor mural exhibition.

Information about the art project |
The artworks should reflect key aspects of the Vietnam - Germany relationship. They will serve as a testament to the diverse perspectives and views on the multifaceted history between the two nations.
The embassy welcomes personal cultural expressions and stories set within the context of the bilateral relations.
Artists will gather together at the embassy on April 11 to create their artworks. After the event, all the artworks will be displayed for three months on the wall and showcased on the anniversary website.
On this occasion, the embassy also launched a writing contest on the Vietnam – Germany relations for female Vietnamese students aged 16 to 26.
